Congratulations on your upcoming addition! As you prepare for the welcoming of your child, plenty of expectant families do plan for a photoshoot to document this life changing moment in your story. These images will show your child how much they were loved even before coming into the world. For the best turnout, we recommend booking your maternity session between 28 and 36 weeks (7th or 8th month). During this time frame, the belly has a nice round shape and you should still be relatively comfortable for a session. Because we're working with limited timeframe, we would definitely encourage you to book early in order to secure your session for optimal results.

Before the session:

You will expect a call within 24 hours of booking to discuss a game plan for your session. In preparation for your call, it would be good to take some time to think about the following topics:

• Style Preference - Documentary or Posed & Natural vs Dramatic Lighting
• Preferred Time, Location & Weather Outlook
• Outfits - What to wear (colors, patterns) and additional outfits to bring.
• Props - Is there anything you would like to include in your session?

During the session:

After our introductions, we get shooting right away! So have fun! We keep things light and easy with various opportunities to review images and offer feedback. When shooting with flash, my wife will often assist us as my voice activated light stand.

After the session:

Expect to receive your previews 2 weeks from your shoot via an online gallery link.
