They draw attention, and faces help people remember. In this day and age, it is more important than ever to have an impactful headshot that can help get yourself out there.

Having the right headshot is just as critical. The wrong or dated image can convey a lack of professionalism or authenticity. This initial bias, whether right or wrong, may have your clients judge you unfavorably and you will never get a second chance to make that first impression. The right headshot will give people an idea of your personality before they meet you, reminds contacts of who you are at that business conference, and should give you the confidence to share more of yourself with others.

Before the session:

You will expect a call within 24 hours of booking to discuss a game plan for your session. In preparation for your call, it would be good to take some time to think about the following topics:

• Purpose of your images - Website, Social Media, Business Cards, etc.
• Preferred Time & Location
• Looks & Outfits - What to wear (colors, patterns)

We do not want to just take your photos, we want to know your story, your vision and why you're updating your portfolio. This call will give us a chance to connect and get to know one another.

During the session:

After our introductions, we get shooting right away! So have fun! We keep things light and easy with various opportunities to review images and offer feedback. When shooting with flash, my wife will often assist us as my voice activated light stand.

After the session:

Expect to receive your proofs 24 hours from your shoot via an online gallery link. You will then pick the 10 images for retouching and you can expect the digital files within 2 week of your decision.
